We have not reported any incidents so far.

This reflects what we have announced and should not be read as a perfect track record. Any check that fails is listed in the measured section above, even when we never wrote about it here.

• Every endpoint is checked once every five minutes by a separate Cloudflare Worker that runs outside the application it watches. The site never checks itself, and nothing is measured in your browser.
• A check passes only when the response carries both the HTTP status we expect and a body in the shape we expect. So a 404 fails, and so does a 200 that returns HTML where JSON belongs, or valid JSON with the wrong fields in it. A 429 is treated as a pass, because the service answered the way it should.
• Uptime is the number of passed checks divided by the number of checks recorded. There is no smoothing and no minimum sample size, and the result is always rounded down, so 99.996% appears as 99.99% rather than 100%.
• A green bar means every check that day passed. Amber means at least one of them failed, red means they all failed, and grey means no check was recorded that day.
• Response times are measured up to the moment the response headers arrive, recorded before the body is read, and averaged across passing checks only. Timeouts are left out of the average rather than counted as very slow responses.
• Days from before the monitor started have no bar, and we do not fill them in afterwards. The record only goes back as far as the monitoring does.
• The checks run from a single location inside Cloudflare’s network. They show whether the service is responding correctly, but they say nothing about how fast it feels on your own connection, and they cannot detect a DNS or routing fault that only affects clients outside that network.

• We do not hold any. whatsmy.fyi is not SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified, and we would rather say so plainly than leave the question open.
• Every request is served over TLS 1.3 with HSTS and a full set of security response headers. You can confirm all of that yourself by running this domain through our security headers tool.
• whatsmy.fyi runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare operates its own audited compliance programme covering that infrastructure: Cloudflare Trust Hub.

Those audits belong to Cloudflare and describe what the underlying platform is certified for. whatsmy.fyi itself is not covered by them.
